As well as a record producer I also own and run Limehurst Studio in Ashton-Under-Lyne, Greater Manchester. It is a fully-fledged recording studio - more information here...
Please see below for examples of songs and project I have produced.
Recorded in one session in April 2025, with vocal overdubs in a short session in May - song written by Harrison Duddle and engineered & produced by Aaron Jones.
This is definitely a step up from the production of the Tangent EP a year earlier, with a much more defined direction - in this case referencing a 90s grunge/Radiohead style alongside some more thought-out guitar layering.
Mixed by myself and mastered by Tom Webb.
This song was actually put together by the band in the same demo sessions as Lamplight so once we recorded that one and got such a great sound we wanted to record Quiet Winter too. I came back into the studio to overdub the final vocals on Lamplight with Harrison Duddle and we planned some sessions over the Summer of 2025 to record Quiet Winter.
In the end we only took 2 sessions, one for the drums and bass, and one for the guitars and vocals. I came back later to add some keys and mixdown before I handed over to Tom Webb who did a phenomenal mix on this track.
The track itself is more complex than Lamplight, and though it was conceived by Harrison Duddle as a more conventional ballad I suggested we build throughout the song and added the bassline to open the song and run throughout the first section - played brilliantly by Cait Wood. Duddle played a clean strat which over the top which I embellished with effects and then we worked on some more ambient guitars to create the bed of sound which really defines this part of the track. For the latter section, I approached as more of a rock song, a big drum and bass sound recorded together with no click, and guitars layered on top of that. Vocals are mostly a single track except for the final chorus which is doubled for effect - again a great performance by Duddle.
I produced and mixed this record.
Recorded in early 2025 at my own Limehurst Studio - engineered by Luna Simpson and myself. Mastered by Luna Simpson.
The song was originally an acoustic track written by Rob Clewer to play with electric guitar from Dave Briscoe in the latter half of Milhouse gigs, and I added the various arrangements to the song which matched Rob's ambition for the song in the studio and took the song to another level.
This EP was recorded in July & August 2024 and released in April 2025.
I served as record producer for this EP, creating the intro track and clarifying the musical direction of each song as we recorded at Limehurst Studio. These songs initially had just one rhythm guitar part, so I worked with guitarist Harrison Duddle very closely to build layers of interlocking guitar parts. This is most evident on the songs Yellow Walls and Too Far - with a solo and breakdown added on the latter track, complimented by rich layers of harmonics.
I also engineered across the project, including recording, mixing and mastering all tracks.

This 4-track EP was recorded at Redwall Studios in May/June 2024. Although it was recorded, mixed and mastered by Sheldon Cooper, I took on a role of record producer in the recording sessions with a focus on relevant guitar & keyboard layers - which really complete the sonic picture. I also engineered the acoustic piano session.

I co-produced the single Don't Know Why with the rest of the band, and engineer Sam Durkin in early 2024. As a member of the band and co-writer of the song I really saw the song through from its inception to a fully realised production. The recording was very much a group effort - with a lot of time spent on reworking parts to best fit the song - including multiple versions of the drum part from myself before we found what best fit the song. Guitar and vocal layering was also a key element to recording the song, with large vocal stacks during the breakdown especially - partially sung by myself.
